Mynydd Llanllwni

Article text
I have recently been working on a new project based around the ancient Crown Common of Mynydd Llanllwni in Carmarthenshire. A company has wanted to develop a wind farm on this site which is currently open land where people are free to roam and also farmers with grazing rights can graze sheep and ponies. Myunydd Llanllwni is home to wild life, ask yourself when did you last hear a cuckoo or a skylark, plants and also has extensive views over Ceredigion to the north with Pumlumon on the horizon and over Carmarthenshire to the south with views of the Brecon Beacons including Penyfan and Bannau Sir Gaer.
There is a campaign to stop this development and Carmarthenshire County Council has refused planning permission.
In 2014 the Welsh Assembly Government refused planning permission for the wind farm
